Subdivision and Condominium Planning Applications
If you are looking for ways to subdivide your land, trying to find out the cost of subdividing your property or need preliminary site plans for a condominium complex, a land use planning consultant can save you time and money.
What is a Plan of Subdivision?
A plan of subdivision is typically required when multiple residential or commercial lots are created at the same time, as with the planned development of a condominium or apartment block. The subdivision plan outlines the layout of a neighbourhood, including the number of building lots for new home construction, placement of streets, parks, etc. Subdivision applications may require studies or reports on lot grading and drainage, traffic impact, noise, archaeological, heritage, environmental and hydrogeological factors.
